At Golf4Grinders, we focus on adaptive golf techniques for players with disabilities. Our detailed video tutorials and gear reviews help golfers navigate challenging terrains safely and confidently. Discover how to improve your game regardless of physical limitations.

Golf4Grinders was founded in 2026 by a disabled (and sometimes disgruntled) US Army veteran with mobility issues after major back surgery. While we're recovering, we are discovering ways to move around and manage the terrain and hazards of courses in such a way as to minimize the possibility of further injury--all within the Rules of Golf. We'll share those tips with you and invite you to share yours with us.

At golf4grinders, we specialize in adaptive golf techniques for players with disabilities. Our detailed video tutorials demonstrate how to navigate challenging terrains safely and confidently, empowering golfers of all abilities to improve their skills. We are dedicated to helping every golfer enjoy the game to the fullest. We review and recommend the best adaptive golf equipment out there and offer it at a discount to subscribing members, as well as discounts on apparel and swag. We also play and review courses for safety and playability and show you potential problems so you can avoid them.

We don't have a huge team. I'm John Schlosser, founder and producer. We'll have the assistance of several PGA Professional instructors who work with PGA HOPE, helping veterans learn and improve their game. I'm no pro, but I've played many hundreds of rounds of golf, mostly hobbled by bad knees. We know how to grind. We will be interviewing celebrity and other grinders, too. Our mascot is a male Maine Coon cat who was born with a right front club paw. In nature such a kitten would be left to fend for himself. Not this cat. Nothing has slowed him down. I named him Gimper. I can do that; I'm a gimper too.

A grinder, in the context of sports in general and golf in particular, is that man or woman you see out there in the early morning or the evening gloaming, pushing to be the best they can. Our specific definition is someone who is overcoming or recovering from serious injury or other setback and has a spirit of "NO QUIT. JUST GRIT." in golf, you tend to see us on the municipal and private courses, not the fancy country clubs. Of course, country club grinders are welcome too.
